Dr. Jonathan Hauck

Before pursuing podiatry, my university studies developed my interest in disease mapping, AutoCAD, and 3D modelling. I wanted to apply this knowledge in a way that contributed to the greater good and had a direct impact on people’s wellbeing. My great-uncle was a cobbler who worked closely with lower-limb pathologies, and his influence carried through to my father, who practised as a podiatrist for more than 40 years. I chose to study at the University of Brighton on the south coast of the UK, where clinical training in the university-owned hospital, placements at King’s College Hospital in London, and research in the on-campus human movement laboratory helped shape me into a knowledgeable practitioner. After graduating with first-class honours and receiving the award for the highest overall mark in research, I joined Hauck Podiatry in July 2019, an experience that has been rewarding, challenging, and fulfilling.
